Michigan winters may be brutal but there is nothing like a Michigan summer. Home to some of the most beautiful fresh water lakes, lies Michigan and its amazing sights. Here are a few spots that we at Veurink's RV Center think you should visit! These are just a few of the many gorgeous stays along Michigan's different lakeshores. 



1. Port Austin: Turnip Rock
Turnip Rock, located in Lake Huron, off Michigan's coast is a unique rock formation many outdoor enthusiasts love to visit. One can hike, kayak, camp, and much more in this beautiful area of Michigan.

2. Pictured Rocks
Found among the south shore of Lake Superior is Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It is known for its exceptional colored water and rock cliffs. A gorgeous sunset kayak ride is calling our name on this beautiful Michigan destination.

3. Harbor Springs
Harbor Springs, located about 10 miles north of Petoskey, is a charming waterfront town located off Little Traverse Bay in Lake Michigan.

4. Traverse City
Traverse City is located off the lakeshore of Grand Traverse Bay in Lake Michigan.  It is known for its vast array of wineries and wine tasting tours as well as Sleeping Bear Dunes and the National Cherry Festival.

5. Mackinac Island
Mackinac Island is located off the upper tip of the Michigan Mitten in between the Upper and Lower Peninsula. The island includes many sights to see including Arch Rock, the Grand Hotel, Fort Mackinac, or the Lilac Festival. It is a quaint town run by horses and bikes off the Lake Huron lakeshore.
