Here is a common place for a lot of West Michigan RVers. It is one of our absolute favorite places to head to in the Summer!

Ready for the warm, sunny summer days in Michigan? We are!

We chose Holland State Park, as it is a place filled with a small beach town feel, yet so many luxuries that you will enjoy. For instance, the beach is walking distance from your campsite! How gorgeous? Sunsets, s'mores, & swimsuits. You can spend long days at the beach and then walk back to your campsite and make some hobo pies over the fire with the gang! When you're finished, walk to the General Store for some ice cream and then head back to the lake, for a long walk on the beach or the pier. Is this getting you excited for Summer time in Michigan? ;D

Not to mention, sit in a comfy Lafuma from Veurinks' RV's Parts & Accessories Store & kick back and watch the boats sail in to the big lake! We can't wait for summer.....

Tips & Tricks: RV Organization

Do you have a problem with managing your space in your RV? Or, how about always feeling like you just don't have enough room with your storage space? 

Here are a few tips and tricks you may find helpful in managing your space! 

1. A few simple racks for your pans, cups, and plates.....can really help keep things organized, as well as allowing to use the space you need and have! These are affordable and so handy to have.

2. STACK IT UP! Use stackable baking utensils to manage the space you have. These are such a great "space saver" to have on hand....especially for those that LOVE to cook and bake!

3. We think this is a clever idea.....a canvas shoe rack! Check it out at: SHOE STORAGE! It is a great place to be able to put it where you want, but save some cupboard space by placing your shoes in this holder.

VRV DIY: Homemade Hummus!

VRV DIY: Homemade Hummus...or should we say YUMmus!

Are you hosting the next RV tailgating party in your RV from Veurinks? Or maybe you're stumped on what to make next for your RV adventure to have on the road! 

Don't worry, we've got you covered.

 Here is something SO simple, yet so HEALTHY for those who are trying to watch what they eat. Dip a carrot, celery, tortilla chips, or some pita bread!

...Not to mention, you can use some of your features your spacious kitchen has to offer in your RV from Veurinks' RV Center! 

What you'll need:

One 15-ounce can (425 grams) chickpeas, also called garbanzo beans

1/4 cup (59 ml) fresh lemon juice, about 1 large lemon

1/4 cup (59 ml) tahini (we used Krinos)

Half of a large garlic clove, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for serving

1/2 to 1 teaspoon kosher salt, depending on taste

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

2 to 3 tablespoons water

Dash of ground paprika for serving

Food processor, measuring spoons and cups, cutting board, spatula, and a bowl.

Here is our finished product! 

We added a little more spice to taste than what the recipe called for. Garlic Salt was a great combo to kick it up a notch to the little bit of garlic cloves we added. I don't think we'll be buying store bought hummus anymore...this is just too easy and good to go back to the store bought! I think we may have to bring this in for our Veurinks' RV Sales Team to give it a little taste (they love taste testing!)
