Veurinks' RV + ALS Awareness

Are you AWARE?

Your Veurinks' RV Family is bringing awareness to Lou Gehrig's Disease. Our sales team did the bucket challenge and is challenging you to donate, and become educated on ALS.

If you aren't familiar with ALS or haven't known someone fighting with this, we encourage you to become educated and learn more!

What exactly is ALS?
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually lead to their death. When the motor neurons die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.

A few F A C T S about ALS:

-It is not contagious
-It is estimated that ALS is responsible for nearly two deaths per hundred thousand population annually.
-ALS can strike anyone.
-ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic or socioeconomic boundaries.

Symptoms of ALS
-Muscle weakness in or more more of the following: hands, legs, arms or the muscles of speech, swallowing or breathing.
-Twitching and cramping of muscles, especially those in hands and feet
-Impairment of the use of arms or legs
-"Thick Speech" and difficulty projecting the voice
-In more advanced stages, shortness of breath, difficulty in breathing and swallowing.

Forms of ALS
-Sporadic: most common form in the U.S.
-Familial: occurs more than once in a family lineage
Guamanian: an extremely high incidence of ALS was observed in Guam and the Trust Territories of the Pacific in the 1950's.

The most common form in the US is Sporadic. It may affect anyone, anywhere.

Breakfast B A S I C S, with a twist!

BREAKFAST
B A S I C S,
with a twist!

Breakfast foods can be a tough one to think of each morning, especially while RVing. Whether you are at home or RVing for a week, your Veurinks' RV family, put together a few ideas for you & your family. These are great ways to twist up the typical breakfast foods, giving them a little twist!

-------------------------------------------------

Sausage Pancake Sticks
Below, we have your typical breakfast sausage. What's the twist? Add your favorite pancake mixture to it! Pre-cook your sausage, and put a shish kabob stick on the end. Then, dip it in the batter. Heat some Canola Oil, until it is 350 degrees. Drip a bit of the batter into the oil, to see if the oil is ready. When it is ready, stick the kabob stick into the oil. It should be in there for a few minutes, until golden brown!
Dip it in some warm syrup and enjoy.

A Gal's Guide to Glamping: 2015 Holiday Rambler Augusta 25K E450

- G L A M P I N G -
 "A Gal's Guide to Glamping"
S E R I E S

Looking for something that's stylish & "on point" with it's interior design, yet practical & easy to maneuver?
Then, this 2015 Holiday Rambler Augusta is for you!
I've narrowed it down to the basic features that stand out to the woman's eye. This gas, 1 slide out, 25 foot beauty is a classic choice for your Gal's Glamping adventure.
Not too big, not too small, just shabby chic.

You could even bring the kids on this weekend's trip!

- - Modern + Contemporary - -
With a Modern and very Edgy look inside, this Augusta is up to par with it's style! What I love most about the decor, is that it is a dark and rich, neutral color pallet. It allows you to be versatile in adding any additional decor to spice it up & make it more "home."

The floor has a nice slate/charcoal, darker finish-not to mention, it is easier to clean (and hide those hard marks on the floor.) You can take a Dyson, broom, or Swiffer and give it a quick wipe!

The back splash has a hint of gold tile, for a splash of character.

The cabinets have a rich tone to it, where it adds an "at home" feel. Not to mention, there is plenty of storage space, inside the cabinets.

With the comfortable bedding, chairs, and dinette, you are even able to sleep 5-6 people in this Augusta.

The dinette transforms into a bed, and there is also an additional bed above the driver & passenger seats. If you're taking a few of the kids along, they can play board games up on the top beds and even watch a movie up there before bedtime!

Talk about that name brand, Ladies!
It's a Holiday Rambler (I love all things HR.)
Top of the line ;)

Holiday Rambler

- - Easy to Drive - -
Gals, the best part about this RV, is that it is one that allows you to feel comfortable, while driving. The size of this RV, is on the shorter and lighter weight side, with the convenience of being able to pull in and out of any parking lot. You and your gal pals will have no problem driving this one around. No more feeling nervous about hauling around a huge RV, when you can easily drive this gem!
